Spin Away Fatigue

(Source: Shape Magazine Singapore, Jun 2008 edition)

Feeling tired all the time? Hopping onto a stationary bicycle for just 20 minutes may do your flagging energy some good, according to University of Georgia researchers. Participants in the study-young adults who complained of perpetual fatigue but had no medical conditions-boasted their energy by 20% after pedalling a stationary bike 3 times a week at a moderate pace for 6 weeks. "We have shown that regular exercise can actually go a long way in increasing feelings of energy, particularly in sedentary individuals," says researcher Timothy Puetz.
