Here is another interesting Japanese drama with a refreshing plot by Fuji TV and it has been awhile since i saw a new Aya Ueto's drama. This 2008 (11 episodes) romantic comedy drama stars Aya Ueto as a character supposedly modeled after Paris Hilton. Ueto plays Alice, the spoiled celebrity daughter of a hotel magnate and an actress. Somehow, she ends up becoming an unlikely couple with Taro Sato (Yusuke Kamiji), a poor, working-class widower raising three children.
Taro Sato (Yusuke Kamiji) has been poor all his life. Since the death of his wife, Taro's situation has become even more desperate as he has to raise his three kids by himself and has no real marketable skills. So when he applies for a job that he doesn't expect to get, as a chauffeur to a rich young woman, he's surprised when he does. His employer is Alice, your usual spoiled rich kid. Her father is a hotel magnate and her mother a popular actress. She's never wanted for anything her whole life and expects to get everything she wants.
She and Taro have nothing in common, and, at least in the beginning, all they do is get on each other's nerves. Between the two contrasting characters, romance is born. In charge of the drama are producer Hiroyuki Goto and director Hidetomo Matsuda, who both worked on the popular "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" television series.
