Hubby and i had instant salmon porridge for breakfast and went outside the hotel to take some pictures as we were taking the 12.30pm shuttle bus to Shinagawa station and there was some time left. We also went to the convenience store in the hotel to stock up on mineral water and snacks. I love looking at all the interesting snacks and bento on sales at the store and can spend a long time at the convenience store! If only i can buy all the food back to Singapore hehe as there are alot of instant food that i hope to try.
We waited for the shuttle bus in front of our hotel and it arrived promptly and the bus journey takes about 20-30 minutes. The shuttle bus stops at the Takanawa Keikyu Hotel which is just 5-10 minutes walk to Shinagawa station. Taking the hotel shuttle bus is really convenient and hassle free as the shuttle bus timing is always so prompt :> the driver will usually arrive 3-5 minutes early and board the bus at 1 minute to departure time and drive off at exactly the departure time! If only the shuttle bus that i always takes to Sembawang Shopping Centre is also that prompt! I always prefer to walking over then waiting for the shuttle bus as the timings are not exact and i might end up having to wait for another 15-20 minutes if the bus left earlier than the stated time.

Hubby and i decided to try looking for the Muji cafe again after our failed attempt previously when we went Ginza. We went online to research the exact location the night before and found out that it is nearer to Yurakucho station on the JR Yamanote line and decided to take the train there to try our luck. There are 2 exits to the station and we were not sure which exit to take and decided to just try both. We took the right exit first and did not see any Muji shop nearby. We decided to walk downwards as there was a whole stretch of restaurants and we were both hungry. We decided to try this unique cafe "News Deli" as we were attracted to the food on display outside and the decor of the cafe looks cozy and nice! I ordered the Omu Rice set lunch and it was really delicious and i love the mushroom sauce with the Omu Rice. We shared a cheesecake for dessert and there was ice-cream and cornflakes with it which was really interesting and turns out to be really tasty :> The pasta and other dishes on display also looks delicious and it was a pity that i was so full and couldn't try all the dishes. I will definitely go back to the cafe again the next time i'm in Tokyo :> Do go to the cafe if you are in Tokyo as i'm missing its delicious Omu rice while i'm writing this and looking at the pictures of the cafe ;> It is so nice to just spend a relaxing afternoon there and i love the beautiful Christmas tree and decor.
After lunch we walked back to Yurakucho station and was about to give up on our search for Muji cafe when hubby spotted the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) notice and we decided to go there and ask for directions to Muji cafe. It was at another exit which we had not noticed earlier and we spotted Muji Cafe just outside the exit!!! It was actually so near to the station and just across the road!!! Although we had a really satisfying and full lunch, we could not resist trying out the delicious looking food at the cafe after exploring the store and decided to share a set lunch and cheesecake. I also bought some yummy bread from the bakery to bring back to the hotel for supper and i love its curry bun which is really delicious!!
We went Akihabara next and i manged to find "My Melody' Iphone 4 covers and bought 2 of them and i could not resist buying a Snoopy cover too ;> I have been looking for nice Iphone 4 covers and was glad to finally found it. We also went to the LAOX Duty Free Shop as i wanted to look for DSLR camera but they do not have the model i was looking for. They only carry the latest models which are really expensive.
We decided to go back to the hotel early and took the train to Shinagawa station to catch the 8pm shuttle bus. I bought some gyoza from the supermarket near the station so that i can have it and the bread from Muji Cafe for supper :>

We took a walk after dinner at the Odaiba Kaihin Park which is just outside Aqua City. The sand beach and board walk extend for 1.25 km. Here, you can sunbathe, take a walk or otherwise enjoy the attractions of the waterside. This park, which is also a viewing point where you can see rainbow bridge face-on, is highly recommended for young couples. The Rainbow bridge joins Shibaura to Odaiba. The overall length of the suspension part is 918 m, and the height above sea level is 52.4 m. The bridge is of a two level construction. On the upper level is the Metropolitan expressway and on the lower level are a general road and also the Yurikamome Line. At night, the bridge is beautifully lit up and i can also see clear view of my favorite Tokyo Tower :>
