Hubby and i went Disneyland on the 3rd day of our Tokyo trip and i was really excited and looking forward to the trip as i had enjoyed all my previous 2 trips there! I went Hong Kong Disneyland once and still prefers Tokyo Disneyland :> I love how the Japanese always make an effort to dress up when they are at the theme parks and it creates a really fun atmosphere. I also loves taking pictures of the beautiful castle and Christmas decorations and looks forward to taking lot of pictures with my brother's DSLR Sony Camera. We planned to take the 8.30am shuttle bus to Disneyland and 10.30pm bus back to the hotel so that we can spend the whole day at Disneyland and watch the Christmas parade and fireworks at night :>
There were alot of people waiting to enter the theme park when we reached around 9am. Was impressed that it was orderly and everyone was queuing properly.
We had delicious Mickey and Minnie Mouse shaped waffles for breakfast and i almost could not bear to eat them as they were so cute.
We walked around taking pictures and also watched the Christmas Parade. Alot of people started sitting on the floor waiting an hour before the parade starts so that they can have clear view when it is passing through.
We had real yummy chicken salad and cajun shrimp salad crepes and corn soup for lunch and i loved it so much that i had 3 crepes!!! Love the light and refreshing taste of the crepes and how i wish i can buy it in Singapore!
I bought alot of Disney goodies and had to buy a big bag to carry all my purchases!!!
We had to leave early as hubby started feeling unwell. He was already having indigestion last night and vomited when we reached Disneyland. He started feeling really unwell after few hours and we decided to go back to the hotel early by train rather than changed to the earliest shuttle bus which was at 6.45pm. We left around 3+pm and reached our hotel at around 5pm.
I love how the Japanese will queue up in an orderly manner while waiting for the train and will give way to alighting passengers.
I bought some dinner back from the convenience store so that we do not have to go outside to eat so that hubby can have more time to rest.
Luckily he felt better the following day and we were able to continue exploring Tokyo :> We had planned to take an hour train ride to Kamakura, which is a scenic little town with several unique temples but decided not to go in the end in case hubby started to feel unwell. We decided to just explore more of downtown Tokyo and Odaiba which was also really nice and relaxing and gives us more time to try out the delicious food in the area :> I was not that disappointed at leaving Disneyland earlier since it was not our first trip and we plan to go Disneysea.
