Stupendous Strawberries!


Strawberries! We know they taste fabulous, but did you know they also have a positive effect on the heart? According to a study conducted by Harvard Medical School, people who consume high amounts of strawberries have lower level of C-reactive protein in the blood. C-reactive protein is a biomarker indicating the presence of an inflammation in blood vessels. This conclusion was reached after studying the dietary record of 27000 women who participated in decade-long Women's Health Study.
