Tip of the day
Found this article online and really gives you the perfect excuse to indulge in sweet sweet chocolate ;>
Sweet like Chocolate
If you want to help lower your cholesterol levels eat chocolate (in moderation of course). The new research adds to other studies that show beneficial effects... New research shows that the consumption of dark chocolate and red wine can help protect against both high cholesterol, and subsequently, dementia. Dark chocolate and red wine are good sources of what’s referred to as the ‘good’ cholesterol, HDL (high-density lipoproteins), and with recent studies indicating a connection between heart health and brain activity, lowering bad cholesterol could well be killing two birds with one stone. Exercise is also an important contributor to raising HDL levels.
