I have finished watching episodes 53 and 54 of "Dong Yi" this week and the recent episodes have been really exciting and fast paced. The drama will be ending on 12 October in Korea (total of 60 episodes) and I have really enjoyed watching the drama this past few months and can't believe it will be ending so soon. I love looking forward to watching each new episode weekly online and it was nice watching the loving and innocent relationships between the Crown Prince and Prince Yeoning despite the rivalry between their mothers.
One of my favorite and most hated character in the drama is Jang Hee Bin and she has finally gotten her punishment for all the evil things she has done together with her irritating mother and brother in episode 54 this week. I have been waiting to see her downfall as she has done alot of bad things to Dong Yi, Prince Yeoning, and Queen Inhyeon but why do i feel sad for her when King Sukjong finally decided that she is to die of poison. I really pity her in the scene where she told King Sukjong that her only regret in life is she should not have love him which resulted in her resenting Dong Yi and trying to get more power to compensate for losing King Sukjong's love. Jealousy is really a very scary thing and one should just be contented with what you have and not try to compare with others and end up getting upset when you are at the losing end as it is really not worth it. I really like actress Lee So Yeon who acted as Hee Bin and she is really suitable for the role and makes Hee Bin looks really proud and beautiful and i always enjoy seeing her character in the drama and she did a great job in acting out the emotional scenes too. Can't wait for next week to come soon so that i can watch more episodes of "Dong Yi" :>
