Hong Kong Drama: Fathers And Sons

I just rented this Hong Kong drama series (25 eps) after reading its great review in 8 Days magazine. I have not rented Hong Kong drama for sometime as i was busy watching my Japanese and Korean dramas. This is Hong Kong's NO. 1 rated dramas for the year and the broadcast period was from 6 August 2007 to 8 September 2007. I alway enjoy watching Bobby Au-Yeung's drama as he is a funnyman and great actor and it is always a joy watching his drama :> Jacky Wong the child actor who plays Bobby's son in the drama is also a joy to watch and he is really really cute in the show.

Bobby stars as a top-ranked market research manager Man Tin-Tsz, who is an expert at price comparison. Commonly nicknamed “the Honorable Min Jeong Ho”, his personal motto is “always be price-conscious”. Tsz who relishes his yuppie lifestyle has been longing for an early retirement but his plans are upset when his 8 years old son (Jacky Wong) whom he never knew existed, turns up at his door step. Tsz has no experience in taking care of children and is totally clueless about how to look after his son. Luckily his ally-cum-rival Kam Mei-Tsun a.k.a "Amy" (Yoyo Mung) is there to help and look out for him in every way. Wong Hei also stars in the drama and playing against type as an effeminate househusband. He focuses on his daughter to the neglect of his career and wife and is torn between his unfaithful wife (Halina Tam) and his daughter's hardworking tutor (Tavia Yeung).

This is a definitely must watch drama for Hong drama serial fans! The drama is available for rental at all Scorpio East/TVBI outlet. I rented the whole drama for $25 ($1 per ep).
