Kevin Cheng) used to practice law for personal fame and glory. He disappeared 7 years ago after indirectly causing the death of an innocent person as he only cares about winning cases. He ended up setting up a Legal Advice Centre with his cousin George Mai (Alex Lam) and his good friend Tin Ka-fu (
Sam Lee) in Sham Shui Po. Lik-ah changes his mind and realizes that legal representation is not only a privilege of the rich. Soon, Lik-ah becomes the Peoples’ Her o of Sham Shui Po, helping grassroots groups fight against injustice with unconventional tactics.
On the other hand, barrister Wong Si-fu (
Myolie Wu), who used to admire Lik-ah for his invincible performances, starts to disdain him for downgrading to a ghetto lawyer. However, after a few court cases with him, the two start to appreciate each other and fall in love.
Besides succeeding in her relationship, Si-fu tries to become an elite practitioner in town. In order to gain advancement, she seizes every chance to get close to the renowned barrister Cheung Pak-kei (
Shek Sau). As Pak-kei enjoys getting people into trouble, he makes sure Si-fu is accidentally embroiled in a lawsuit.
In order to save Si-fu, Lik-ah has no choice but to challenge the law.
Joyce Tang stars as a housewife who is abandoned by her husband and have to support her elderly mother-in-law and 2 small kids. She ended up in trouble with the law and was assisted by Lik-ah and his friends and ended up working as his legal assistant.
Sharon Chan stars as a prostitute in the drama and is good friend with Myolie Wu's character in the drama. She was forced into the profession due to her drug addict mother and hopes to save enough money to open a French restaurant. She has a strong sense of justice and volunteers at the Legal Advice Centre to deliver food stuffs to the elderly and falls in love with Ka-fu.

Ghetto Justice has aired until the third week and it has already become a hot discussion topic. The drama will be shooting a sequel in October with the original cast and it will also revolves around the legal genre. Also, the producer, Tong Kei Ming, has resigned as such the sequel will be produced by Chan Wai Koon. Producer Tong shares that he has plans to film a movie version of Ghetto Justice but it all depends on Kevin and Myolie's availability.
Kevin and Myolie collaborated several times in the past, but this time they have special sparks. Myolie explained: "Before we collaborated in Strictly Come Dancing 2 and Burning Flames 3. Perhaps in BF3, our roles were more restrain and there isn't much noise when we come together! This time, Kevin's role is very playful, breaking through that handsome look he had in the past. He's laid back and ghetto, in fact he is just being himself!"
