Channel U Drama - Marry Me 我要嫁出去

Channel U has started showing this interesting and entertaining drama starring my favorite local actress Jesseca Liu. I managed to catch its debut episode and  enjoyed watching the drama. Jesseca stars as Rainbow, the boss of a matchmaking agency. Yvonne Lim stars as Xixi, a gynaecologist and a workaholic. Ya Hui stars as Ruoxian, a kindergarten teacher who has an inferiority complex. A light-hearted drama peppered with humour, "Marry Me" looks into the reasons why people are marrying late or not at all, through the life stories of these three women.

Beautiful, smart but a tad too busy for love. A crazy workaholic with barely any time for romance. Will she ever find time to encounter her Mr. Right?

Bachelorette No. 3 Ruo Xian 

Sweet and lovely, but comes with an additional baggage of inferior complexity. Insecure about her weight and appearance, she avoids love like plague. After putting up such high walls, can her Mr. Right ever get to her?

But as they all say, love comes knocking when you least expect it. And along comes four suave and charming gentlemen…Each unknowingly got entwined into the lives of these three bachelorettes. Will they be able to finally sweep these girls off their feet?

"Dr Jin" Lead Actor Song Seung Heon Coming To Singapore To Promote The Drama

For fellow fans of Korean drama, do take note :) popular and charming Korean star Song Seung Heon will be coming to Singapore from 28 February - 2 March 2013 to promote his latest fantasy medical drama "Dr Jin" which will be showing from 1 April 2013 - 10 May 2013 on Channel U. The drama was shown in Korea last year and i was busy watching "A Gentleman's Dignity" which was showing at around the same time and did not have the time to catch it online. I love watching Song Seung Heon's previous drama "My Princess" and will definitely tune in to his new drama co-starring the lovely actress Park Min Young on Channel U if i have the time while taking care of baby. 

Song Seung Heon will be meeting fans at West Coast Plaza on 2 March 2013, 4pm. First 100 fans will get a "Dr Jin" poster autographed by him. Do like Channel U Facebook Page for the latest updates.

Yummy Steamboat Dinner With My family On Last Day Of Chinese New Year :)

Yummy & Relaxing Dinner @ Bliss Restaurant

I first learnt about this great dinning place from (http://foodiefc.blogspot.sg/2013/02/bliss-restaurant-ang-mo-kio.html) and decided to give it a try on Friday since i was at Ang Mo Kio Central with hubby to stock up on my favorite toiletries and baby products. It is located at Cheng San Community Club which is about 10 minutes walking distance from Ang Mo Kio MRT Station. You can find out more information about the restaurant here.

We decided to try one of its signature dishes - Fish & Chips and did not regret the choice as it was really yummy. We also ordered the Sea Salt Caramel Banana Waffle recommended by FoodieFC for dessert. I was also hoping to try its Traditional Italian Tiramisu as i love the dessert but was too full to order more as the Fish & Chips portion was more than enough for a single person and i barely had room for its delicious waffle. I feel the waffle would taste even better served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or chocolate sauce ;)

We love the cozy and relaxed environment and as we arrived at 5pm which was quite early for dinner time, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We topped up $3.90 for iced lemon tea and a soup of the day - mushroom soup and it was really delicious. We find the food prices really value for money and there was no service charge. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dinning and is a really great place for gatherings with family and friends and i can't wait to go back again with my family or friends to try out its other dishes and desserts. I have been a faithful reader of The Singapore Women's Weekly for several years and love trying out the recipes featured in the magazine and taking part in its monthly SMS contests. I was delighted to win a L'Oreal skincare hamper for its December 2012 contest!
