Lakeshore Christmas - Susan Wiggs

I have just borrowed this latest book written by Susan Wiggs from the library and can't wait to start reading it :>

Readers everywhere have embraced the Lakeshore Chronicles, stories of love and family set in an idyllic town on the shores of Willow Lake. Now, in the tradition of timeless holiday classics, comes Lakeshore Christmas, a modern-day fairy tale about the unexpected blessings of the season.

A mysterious stranger comes to town, and a lonely woman and a troubled man find themselves forever changed. Local librarian Maureen Davenport and guitar hero Eddie Haven are virtual strangers...until they find themselves working together in the most unlikely of circumstances.

Maureen loves Christmas, and is willing to set aside her worry over the looming closing of the town library to direct the town's annual holiday pageant. Eddie can't stand Christmas, yet he's been ordered by a judge to co-direct the pageant alongside Maureen.

With its uplifting message about the power of giving, their story will take you back to those special relationships in your past that have shaped your life.
