Day 2 In Tokyo

It was still raining during day 2 of our Tokyo trip and hubby and i had a relaxing and yummy buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant. We decided to spend the day shopping and will go Disneyland during day 3. We plan to go Harajuku in the morning to shop at Muji, Agnes B, and Kiddyland and have our lunch before going to Ginza to shop at Burberry for its blue label products, Itoya for stationeries, Uniqlo, and Muji.

Train Ride To Harajuku

Shopping At Kiddyland Harajuku

This is one of Tokyo's most famous and popular toy stores. Located along the Omotesando, it offers six floors filled with all kinds of toys from electronic games to stuffed animals. Many major toy brands, including Disney, Barbie and Hello Kitty are present.

Delicious Pasta for Lunch At Harajuku

Harajuku is the center of Japan's most extreme teenage cultures and fashion styles, but also offers shopping for grown-ups and some historic sights. The focal point of Harajuku's teenage culture is Takeshita Dori (Takeshita Street) and its side streets, which are lined by many trendy shops, fashion boutiques, used clothes stores, crepe stands and fast food outlets geared towards the fashion and trend conscious teens.

Shops, cafes and restaurants for all ages are found along Omotesando, a broad, tree lined avenue, sometimes referred to as Tokyo's Champs-Elysees. Opened in February 2006, Omotesando Hills with its intriguing interior design, consists of six floors (three of them underground) of upmarket shops, restaurants, cafes and beauty salons. Several apartments are located on top of the shopping complex.

I love the pasta with cheese set meal that i ordered which came with salad and is really delicious and leaves me craving for more!!!

Dinner At Lion Beer Hall Ginza Station

We decided to have dinner at Lion Beer Hall after reading about the eatery from a Tokyo travel guide. The review said that Lion Beer Hall which is located at 7-9-20 Ginza, Chuo-Ku (www.ginzalion.jp) is worth dropping by, if only to marvel at the ground floor beer hall's vaulted ceiling and mosaic-lined decor. Brewery Sapporo's beers are accompanied by Germanic-style sausages and the like".

I love its unique restaurant decor

My Great Buys At Harajuku And Ginza

It was raining quite heavily with strong wind throughout the whole day and i had difficulty taking more pictures as i was too busy trying to hold on to my umbrella as i was so afraid that the strong wind will either blow away my umbrella or damage it!

I was impressed that the service staff at Agnes B and Burberry took the initiative and effort to use clear plastic sheets to cover over the paper bags so as to protect my purchases from the heavy rain.
