Uniqlo Opens 7 August 2009 At Orchard Ion

Popular Japanese casual wears "Uniqlo" opens in Orchard Ion today and i went with a friend there during lunch time to check out the great bargains. There were some cheap and good buys and selected t-shirts and polo tees are selling for only $6.90!!! The store was very crowded and there was a long queue for payment so we did not buy anything and it was also too rushed as we could only spend 45 minutes there and had to rush back to work.

This is my second visit to Orchard Ion since it opened end July 2009. I went with hubby last Friday and we had yummy Japanese Pork Cutlet bento set at "Ginza Bairin" for dinner. It was so crowded at the restaurant today when i went to buy its yummy and expensive tonkatsu sandwich. I have been busy with work this 2 weeks and have not had the time nor energy to download the photos from my Iphone and will do so this weekend. Do look forward to more pictures of interesting shops and nice eateries at Orchard Ion during my next posting for those who have not been there and am curious about this new shopping centre in Orchard Road ;> I'm so glad that the long weekend has finally arrived!! Saturday & Sunday no need to work and Monday is Public Holiday :> Gonna laze around at home and finish reading all the interesting books that i borrowed from the library!!!
