Celebrating My Boy's 1st Birthday @ Sea Aquarium - Ocean Restaurant

We celebrated Baby J's 1st birthday last week and had a lovely family lunch at Ocean Restaurant. Lunch was really delicious and Baby J loves the place. He had a great time looking at the fishes and was trying to make friends with some kids who were admiring the fishes near the platform with him. My baby is really growing up and have been practicing walking at home by holding on to the furnitures. I can't wait for him to start walking on his own :) Happy birthday my dear boy and mummy and daddy love you and hope that you will stay happy and healthy always and we look forward to bringing you on more fun outings. Hmm maybe the zoo next hehe ;)

Korean Drama - My Love From Another Star

I have not had the time to update my blog recently as Baby J has not been feeling well and i have been busy taking care of him. I have also been hooked to this really interesting Korean drama "My Love From Another Star" starring Kim Soo Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun and have been watching the drama online whenever Baby J is sleeping.

The drama has recently ended in Korea and gotten really good ratings. It is also really popular with viewers from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. I love the touching and sweet love story of the main characters Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) and Cheon Song Yi (Jeon Ji Hyun) and spending a few hours nightly watching the drama really helps me to relax after a tiring day taking care of a very needy and grouchy baby. Really hopes my poor baby will get well soon. I have been listening to the drama soundtrack daily and my favorite songs are "My Destiny" and "In Front Of Your House" and you can check out the song MVs below. 

Actor Kim Soo Hyun has won over a lot of female viewer's hearts, including mine hehe ;) with his portrayal of the perfect boyfriend Do Min Joon who is an alien that landed on Earth 400 years ago during the Joseon Dynasty period. Do Min Joon possesses a near perfect appearance and enhanced physical abilities involving his vision, hearing and speed. He holds a cynical view to human beings. Deciding that emotions are nothing but fantasies that drag human beings into folly and evil, he scorns the mortal idea of love. And so far, he has had no reason to change his mind. But he starts to have second thoughts when he meets the stunning and attractive actress Cheon Song Yi three months before he is finally able to return to his own planet. Tasty & Healthy Baby Food From Petit Bowl

I mentioned in my previous post about purchasing frozen baby food online from Petit Bowl and i'm so glad that baby J has been enjoying his Petit Bowl meals. I'm so happy that he has also started to enjoy eating beef which he hates in the past. The beef dishes from Petit Bowl are really delicious unlike the bottled beef baby food i fed baby J. I have been feeding baby J a lot of Petit Bowl meals while we are out visiting this Chinese New Year as it is so convenient to prepare and bring it out.

My baby will be 1 year old next month and he has been showing a lot of interest in the food we are having and i have been hoping to find the time to prepare more variety of food for him as he eats fish or chicken porridge with vegetables daily. However he has developed separation anxiety recently and sticks closely to me at times and refused to play on his own and i have difficulty spending too much time preparing his meals for him. I wanted to introduce other meat dishes like beef, pasta to his daily meals and I was so happy to have discovered Petit Bowl from reading past issues of Young Parents Magazines.

I decided to order from Petit Bowl as i love that their meals contains no salt, sugar, MSG and their delivery services have been really prompt and i usually receives my orders within 2 days of ordering online. Baby J's top favorites are their Blueberry Yogurt, Braised Beef & Barley Pot, Hidden Vegetable Pasta and Sole Fish Casserole with rice and he finishes everything up which makes his daddy and mummy very happy :) I'm so glad and thankful that my boy is a little foodie like his mummy.

Its really easy and convenient to prepare the meals and i just steam the food for about 20 minutes and add some milk or water to his casserole with rice so that its like porridge and not too dry. The meals from Petit Bowl smells really good and hubby could not resist eating some too. I have just received my 3rd order of another 2 weeks worth of meals for baby J today. However some of baby J's favorite dishes like the hidden vegetable pasta and braised beef & barley pot were sold out and hopefully there will be new stocks soon and i can order more for him.

Chinese Drama 兰陵王 Prince of Lan Ling OST - 手掌心MV (Della丁噹)

I have been watching this 2013 Chinese period drama "兰陵王 Prince of Lan Ling" and its a really entertaining and touching romance drama. I love the beautiful love story between Ariel Lin's character (Yang Xue Wu) and Feng Shao Feng (Prince Lan Ling). Daniel Chan's portrayal of Yuwen Yong, King of Northern Zhou was really good and i could not help liking his character more than the main character, the Prince of Lan Ling. He did a great job in acting out the evil and human side of Yuwen Yong making viewers fond of his character even though he is supposed to be one of the baddies in the show.

Started The Day With Power Breakfast @ My Favorite Burger King - Sembawang Shopping Centre :)

Baby J woke up really early this morning and we went for a long walk around the neighborhood. We ended up at Sembawang Shopping Centre and decided to have a nice and relaxing breakfast at the newly opened Burger King. Love its delicious breakfast and its the best way to start off a lovely day :)

Chinese New Year Shopping At Zalora

There are only 10 days left till Chinese New Year and i have not finished my shopping for new year clothes yet. Luckily i have already finished shopping for Baby J's new year clothes and will share pictures soon. I have been really busy since moving to our new home as there are alot of stuff to unpack while looking after a very active and playful Baby J. He has started eating porridge with meat twice a day as advised by his PD and fruits for breakfast. Thank god for online shopping as i can do it during Baby J's nap time ;)

Baby J With His Favorite New Toy - Oreo Train Tin Container :)

I went NTUC Fairprice on Friday and saw this cute and lovely designed Oreo Train Tin Container which comes with Oreo biscuits and cost only $7.90. It comes in 2 colors, blue and purple. My mum showed it to Baby J and he started playing with its wheels and refused to let go of it. It is the first time he has expressed such a strong interest in a toy and got upset when we wanted to put it back. I ended up buying it for him and it is really money well spent as Baby J can play with it and his daddy can enjoy the tasty Oreo biscuits ;)
